Turn the Loss Into a Launch

The plan looked solid on paper.

January: Frozen Stick Half
February: Flat Branch Ultra
March: Queeny Backyard / Hyrox WFCO
April: Ozark Wilderness Endurance Runs
May: IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga

But plans don’t care about reality—and reality doesn’t ask permission.

Instead of checking every box, the schedule flipped on its head. Some races didn’t happen. Some had to be let go. The 70.3 is off the table for now (but not forever - Wisconsin is still a possibility this year).

What’s left?

The Chubb 25K Ruck.
The Ozark Trails 50K.

And honestly—that’s enough.

Because this was never about a perfect calendar. It’s about showing up anyway. Adjusting. Rebuilding. Moving forward when things don’t go how you drew them up.

You don’t get better when everything goes right.
You get better when you adapt.

Work through the losses.
Turn the plan on its head.
Keep running forward.

That’s the win.
